The trip begins from Tehran. After arriving at the IKIA airport or your place of residence, you will be transferred to your hotel for some rest. Then take a relaxing tour around Sa’adabad Palace Complex late in the morning. Before heading up into Tehran’s mountains to Darband Valley for light walking. Relax and enjoy the fresh air. Day 02, Tehran
To understand Iran’s history, there is perhaps no better place than old city centre of Iran’s capital. Tour more highlights such as UNESCO listed Golestan Palace Complex, Iran National Museum, then visit The National Jewellery Museum. All these sites are located around Tehran Grand Bazaar and within the old city walls. O/N Tehran Hotel.
Day 03, Tehran- Mashhad
Before rushing off to discover Iran’s eastern provinces, we’ll visit the Carpet Museum in Tehran and take an afternoon flight to Mashhad. In the early evening we’ll visit the most important Imam Reza’s Holy Shrine and return to the hotel. O/N Mashhad Hotel.
Day 04, Mashhad
On the fourth day we’ll make a short tour to Neyshabur (120 km) and visit the Tomb of Omar Khayyam. Upon returning to Mashhad we’ll travel to Tomb of Ferdowsi in addition to Nadershah Museum. O/N Mashhad Hotel.
Day 05, Mashhad- Ferdows
From the 5th day onwards, we’ll get more familiar with the local desert architecture. We’ll visit Riab Village (285 km) on the way to Ferdows (360 km). O/N Ferdows Hotel.
Day 06, Ferdows
In the morning we’ll tour around Boshrouye (95 km). While enjoying the regions amazing natural beauties, we’ll visit the Desert Sands on the way back to the hotel in Ferdows, where we will explore old Toon Historical City. O/N Ferdows Hotel.
Day 07, Ferdows- Birjand
Continuing our journey, we head to Birjand City (200 km) and explore its traditional bazaar before lunch. In the afternoon we’ll visit one of the five UNESCO culture listed Persian Gardens, the Akbarieh Garden. O/N Birjand.
As there are more than expected to visit in Birjand, we head to Furg Citadel in the morning and visit Shokat Abad Garden in the afternoon. O/N Birjand.
As our next city, we go to Deh Salm (280 km), an oasis desert village famous for palm trees on top of sand dunes. O/N Deh Salm Hotel.
After lunchtime we leave our hotel for Zabol (260 km). On the way there are many sites to visit including Nehbandan Windmills. And arrive to our hotel in Zabol at night. O/N Zabol Hotel.
Day 11, Zabol
We’ll spend the day around Zabol, visiting UNESCO site Shahr-e Soukhteh ‘The Burnt City’ which is a must see site in Sistan. In the afternoon we’ll visit Mount Khajeh (45 km from Zabol) the volcano settlement which has always played a sacred role in different faiths throughout ages. O/N Zabol Hotel.
Day 12, Zabol- Zahedan
Head to the provincial capital Sistan va Baluchestan, Zahedan (210 km). On the way to Zahedan, we’ll visit some ancient castles in the region and arrive in the city by lunchtime. Next we’ll go to the important Zahedan South East Museum (Grand Museum) which is located nearby the hotel. O/N Zahedan Hotel.
Day 13, Zahedan- Bam
From Zahedan we’ll visit the world’s largest mud-brick village, the Arg-e Bam Citadel (325 km). We’ll leave early in the morning to spend the rest of the day in this ancient city of Iran. O/N Bam Hotel.
Day 14, Bam- Kerman
Before leaving for the Kerman, the provincial capital of Kerman (210 km), we’ll visit another great (and better preserved) citadel in the area, Arg-e Rayen, before visiting the desert garden of Mahan’s Shazdeh and hotel in Kerman afterwards. O/N Kerman Hotel.
Day 15, Kerman
To understand the history of Kerman City, it’s best to take a Walking Tour around Ganjalikhan Historic Complex including the historical bath, school, mosque, cistern and bazaar. Then we’ll head to Jebelie Dome and visit the Stone Museum. In the early evening we’ll return to the hotel. O/N Kerman Hotel.
Day 16, Kerman (Shahdad)
We’ll also get the most from Kerman by visiting the Shahdad Desert and Kalouts see the natural sand castles, carved out from unidirectional winds throughout the ages. On the way back to the Kerman, we’ll also visit a Historical Cypress Tree of Sirch on our way back to the hotel. O/N Kerman Hotel.
Day 17, Kerman- Tehran
After some relaxing time in Kerman, we’ll fly back to Tehran (90 min) and enjoy a traditional farewell dinner together. O/N Tehran Hotel.
Day 18, Leaving Iran
Finally it’s time to bid farewell as we arrange your transfers to your preferred destination.
